The total forest area for Peninsular Malaysia in 2015 was 5,758,165 ha. The total area in 2019 was 5,707,289 ha. Thus, the total forest area has experienced a slight reduction of 50,786 ha or a reduction of 0.88%. 2) One scope namely the biodiversity protocol has been developed to be incorporated into decision making papers 3) One tool for monitoring of biodiversity has been developed for federal and state technical agencies and stakeholders. 4) Tiger population in CFS landscape remains unchanged. This include both achievement of outcomes and outputs as well as expenditure. A new projection of expenditure needs to be developed beginning at the reactivation of the project in May 2020. In the second portfolio, we had 5 different innovation methods (behavioral insights, social media analysis, proof of concept, randomized controlled trial, citizen science) under 1 frontier challenge (Animonsta/IMELC) 4. Using the SDG framework, two guidelines will be developed; one on localisation and another on SDG-aligned costing and budgeting. Both guidelines are developed to complement and support effective an implementation of the Roadmap. The guidelines will provide recommendations for encouraging more disaggregated data collection and analysis coupled with an inclusive and participatory approach to the implementation of the Roadmap agenda. Input into the guidelines will be drawn from technical consultations, best practices and guidance with benchmarks and case studies towards building an integrated model for policymakers to align and integrate national development priorities with development planning and solutions, connecting state/local institutional framework with economic development, environmental protection and social development. An initial framework for country led evaluations that will evolve in parallel with refinements to the overall SDG follow-up and review mechanism adapted to the priorities and capacities in the current system.
